J. Ross Wagner – 2014 Morning Speaker
Ross Wagner (Ph.D., Duke University) has taught New Testament at Princeton Theological Seminary for the past 15 years and is moving to a new post at Duke Divinity School in the fall of 2013. His scholarship focuses on early Jewish and Christian interpretations of Scripture, the Septuagint, and Pauline theology. In collaboration with Darrell Guder, he regularly offers courses on missional hermeneutics. Ross was for several years part of the pastoral team of a missional church in north-suburban Chicago; most recently he served as an elder of a small, growing congregation in Princeton. Ross and his wife, Ronda, homeschool their four children, who keep them delightfully busy and continually learning.

Ben Patterson – 2014 Evening Speaker
For over ten years the Reverend Ben Patterson has been the Campus Pastor at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. He is a contributing editor to Christianity Today, Leadership Journal, and was previously a contributing editor and editorial writer with The Wittenberg Door. Ben served the New Providence Presbyterian Church of New Jersey from 1989 until his appointment as Dean of the Chapel at Hope College in 1993. From 1975 to 1989 he was with the Irvine Presbyterian Church of California, of which he was the founding pastor.
Ben Patterson earned his bachelor’s degree from La Verne University in 1966 and his master’s of divinity from The American Baptist Seminary of the West in 1972. He and his wife, Lauretta, have four grown children and is the proud grandfather to his one year old grandson, Cornelius Jack.
